I have to agree with you, Rod. Bottled beer is WAY better than canned beer. I have reasons why. As a guy who has been a bartender at many weddings, parties, etc. I alway tell the host to purchase their beer in a bottle. If I have to serve the beer in glasses, it is easier to pour beer into a glass from a bottle than from a can.
Furthermore, beer stays colder longer in a bottle than in a can. The metal conducts heat from your hand at a faster rate than glass.
The best reason for drinking your beer from a bottle than from a can is simply that you look like a total redneck when drinking from the can. Drinking from a bottle is more elegant (ha ha ha).
If you ask me how I drink my beer – in a tall frosty glass. So always keep beer mugs in the freezer for me.
