2008 Vancouver Sun Run

April 21st, 2008 · 5 Comments

Today was the 24th Vancouver Sun Run with a record 59,000 plus people in attendance. It was chilly but clear, we walked more than we ran but I absolutely loved the experience.

Wait wait wait… sun run? I thought the sun never came out up there. I can understand calling it the Rain and snow run but sun run?

Now if you were in phoenix then I’d agree :)

That’s awesome! Yeah, didn’t seem like there was a lot of sun… but it looked fun.

Aside from the general awesomeness of your taking on the race, it was really great to see all those shots of downtown Vancouver. I was last there about six years ago. Beautiful city.

I’m glad you had a good time. I play drums in The Neurotics, the band at the starting line scaffold, and even after 15 years watching those tens of thousands of people go by never gets old. And I get to sit down! :)
